Contributing to the conservation of nature, adapting all manufacturing processes to minimise the impact on the environment as much as possible. |
Now, instead of what most companies do (put a picture of an idyllic forest), we prefer to show you the details of how we recycle most of our waste. |
RECYCLING OF FIBRE |
The padding waste is pressed and then recycled. Most of it is later used as filling for teddy bears. |
RECYCLING OF FOAM |
The foam is another material that we don't dispose of, as we occasionally use it for reinforcing the packaging of our sofas. |
RECYCLING OF PAPER AND PLASTIC |
Both paper and plastic are disposed of in different containers in all sections of our company. |
RECYCLING OF WOOD |
The remaining material from the carpentry section is recycled to make chipboard. |
ECOLOGICAL HEATING |
We have recently changed the heating system from the oil heating to a new system based on pellets made from our own wood residues. It saves energy and takes a greater care of the environment, since it is a totally ecological fuel, which does not increase CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. |
CHAIN OF CUSTODY |
We're about to get Chain of Custody Certificate of the 100% of the wood we use. This means that we only use wood of companies that are committed to repopulate the same amount of trees cut. This demonstrates our commitment to a responsible forest management model. |
